Beauty by Brownie Policies

To ensure a smooth and professional experience for both you and me, please take a moment to read through the following policies. Your understanding and cooperation are greatly appreciated!

1. Booking Confirmation:

• All appointments must be confirmed via email within 24 hours of booking. You will receive a confirmation email shortly after you schedule your appointment. Please reply to this email to confirm your appointment; otherwise, your slot will be released.
• Once you confirm your appointment via email, a travel fee will be calculated based on your location and added to your total. This fee ensures that I can bring the salon experience right to your doorstep!

2. Travel Fee:

• A travel fee applies to all appointments and will be calculated once you reply to your confirmation email. The fee is based on the distance to your location and will be communicated to you before the final booking confirmation.
• Travel fees are non-negotiable and must be accepted as part of the service agreement. Failure to agree to the travel fee will result in the cancellation of the appointment.

3. Hair Inclusion:

• For your convenience, hair is included in all braiding services. This means you don’t need to worry about purchasing hair ahead of time—just show up, and I’ll handle the rest!

4. 15-Minute Grace Period:

• For Clients: A 15-minute grace period is provided if you are running late. After 15 minutes, a late fee of $15 will be added to your total. If you arrive more than 30 minutes late, your appointment may be canceled at my discretion, and the deposit will be forfeited.
• For the Stylist: I also have a 15-minute grace period. If I am running late for any reason, I will communicate with you promptly. If I am more than 30 minutes late and you choose to cancel, your deposit will be refunded.

5. Male Clients:

• All male clients are required to submit a request for an appointment. Appointments for male clients are subject to approval and will only be confirmed upon review. This policy is in place to ensure the comfort and safety of both parties.

6. Cancellations and Rescheduling:

• Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment time to avoid losing your deposit.
• If you need to reschedule, please do so at least 24 hours in advance. Rescheduling within 24 hours of the appointment may result in a rescheduling fee.

7. Payment and Deposits:

• A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment. This deposit will be applied to your total service cost.
• Final payments must be made in cash, Zelle, or via the payment method provided in your booking confirmation email.

8. Health and Safety:

• Your safety is my priority. I follow strict hygiene practices to ensure a clean and safe environment during your appointment. If you are feeling unwell, please reschedule your appointment.

9. No-Show Policy:

• If you fail to show up for your appointment without prior notice, the deposit will be forfeited, and future bookings may require full payment in advance.

10. Special Requests and Accommodations:

• If you have any special requests, allergies, or specific needs, please let me know in advance so I can prepare accordingly.
